Riverdance Los Angeles Theatre reviews
Venue did not make experience nondisruptive
We sat in our seats and about 1o minutes after the show started, a group of people came in to be seated in front of us. About another 10-15 minutes later another group came in. Only this time, not only were they also in front of us, but there was an issue with the seats. This caused lots of talking through during the performance and more movement. Though I understand everyone has situations, I feel that for a performance like this, people that are late or have issues with seating should watch from the aisle and wait for the intermission so as not to cause an unpleasant experience for other paying guests.
Not up to par
First off, the lighting was terrible. We couldn't even tell what colors the costumes were. Everything was so dark on the stage. Some of the dancers didn't have the qualifications for a tour of that nature. Stage appeared way too small. A far cry from the days of Michael Flatley. Just a let down. On top of that, the wait to get in was way too long. Only one metal detector at the door. Much pushing and shoving and such a long wait that made us miss the beginning of the show.
